Sam,

I did the complete uninstall and utilized the .bat file. I also removed any
trace of WDT/400 from the registry. IE 5.5 is current on its fixes. I have
to log into the network as I am using WIN NT. This also makes the
environment space issue not relevant. I did all of this while on the phone
with IBM Support. They are stumped. I feel that it has something to do with
previously having JDK 1.3 installed but I can't find a trace of it
anywhere.

Thanks

Mark

One of our programmers had a similar problem on Win 98. The solution
seemed
to be:

1) Make sure IE 5.5 was correctly installed. (Not sure if this was
significant, but he did it anyway.)
2) Remove all traces of previous versions.
3) Remove all traces of previous install. This means running the uninstall
from the CD, not the control panel, then running the .Bat file from the web
page that cleans up anything left over, then running uninstall from the
WDT400 directory if there is still stuff there.
4) Getting PATH statement under 200 bytes. (I think he just commented it
out in his autoexec.bat, then put it back afterwards.
5) Rebooting, and not logging into the network.
6) Doing the install.

Having said that, I managed the install with far less effort.
