Jim, The V4R5M1 release of CODE/400 should connect and work with the V3R2M0 AS/400 release. However, you should note that the V3R2M0 AS/400 release is no longer supported. You will be on your own for any problems you find with CODE/400 that have to do with the AS/400 version REGARDLESS of what PC version you are using. I will also note that I do not know of any such problems with V3R2M0-V4R5M1 combination at this time. thanks, Violaine Batthish CODE/400 Project Lead batthish@ca.ibm.com IBMCA(BATTHISH) CODE/400 page: http://www.ibm.com/software/ad/varpg CODE/400 Support : http://www.ibm.com/software/ad/varpg/support Dave Mahadevan <mahadevan@fuse.net>@midrange.com on 02/14/2001 01:00:52 PM Please respond to CODE400-L@midrange.com Sent by: owner-code400-l@midrange.com To: CODE400-L@midrange.com cc: Subject: Re: V4R5M1 compatibility with V3R2 (was Install of SP002 for V4R4) Violaine: Will V4R5M1 work with V3R2 in a CISC machine? Currently I have V3R2M2 on the PC with Windows 2000 Pro and Client Access V3R2M0 with service pack SF64050 and V3R2 in a CISC machine and it works just fine. Can I upgrade this to V4R5M1 in this scenario? If so got an 800 number handy? +--- | This is the CODE/400 Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to CODE400-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to CODE400-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to CODE400-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: larry@paque.net +---
