Hi John,

You can save rings (but you won't be able to save your cursor position).
To save the files in a ring:
1) Open the Ring Manager (using either the toolbar button or Window->Ring
Manager). You will then see a split screen with the files currently open
in the Editor at the top (and most likely nothing in the bottom split)
2) Right-click on any ring you would like to save, and select Save from the
pop-up menu.
3) Give the ring a name and press Enter. You will now see a ring in the
bottom half of the screen with the ring name you assigned.

Your rings are now save for future use. To re-open a ring:
1) Open Ring Manager
2) double click on the ring you would like to open or right click, then
select open.

There may be more you can do using macros, but this is what I use.

Subject: Code V4R5M1 - Save my session!

By the end of a typical workday, I find that I usually have about 6 to 10
source members open within Code, and/or Designer. I've been thinking that
it
would be really nice if WDT would save the state of my "workspace" when I
closed everything down, so that it could restore that workspace
automatically the next time that I started it up. Ideally, I'd like all
source members opened, assigned to the proper ring(s), with the cursor
placed exactly where I left it.

What say you Code guru's? Can this be done?
