Here's what I use: Command . . . . . . . . . /* CODE Edit Member */ CALL PGM(QCODE/EVFCFDBK) PARM('37' 'Y' 'MARS' '<LOCAL> CODEEDIT "<MARS>&L/&F(&N)"') The only thing I can see different is that I have the name of the AS/400 in two places, not just one. _______________________ Booth Martin Booth@MartinVT.com http://www.MartinVT.com _______________________ "Vernon Reeve" <reeve@bendcable.com> Sent by: owner-code400-l@midrange.com 10/11/2000 02:04 PM Please respond to CODE400-L To: "Code400-L" <code400-l@midrange.com> cc: Subject: I'm trying to use a PDM option to open a source member in Code. I did the strcode command in another session, and have code400 editor started, and tried to use the following PDM option: call qcode/evfcfdbk parm('37' 'Y' 'OS400' '<LOCAL> CODEEDIT "<>&L/&F(&N)"') I then get the following error: Message ID . . . . . . : EVF4000 Date sent . . . . . . : 10/11/00 Time sent . . . . . . : 10:52:30 Message . . . . : A TCP/IP communications error occurred. Cause . . . . . : A remote host did not respond within the timeout period. - The name of the error is ERR_TCPIP (3447). - The name of the function is ipClientConnect-connect. I can open members using the File/Open menu in the Editor, so I know it's communicating correctly. Any Ideas? Also, is it possible to copy all the members in a source file to the PC using either PDM option repeated, or a command line command? +--- | This is the CODE/400 Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to CODE400-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to CODE400-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to CODE400-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: larry@paque.net +--- +--- | This is the CODE/400 Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to CODE400-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to CODE400-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to CODE400-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: larry@paque.net +---
