Codeprj2...illegal action...will be shut down

I went to edit a member using CPO's filter, which has worked in the past,
but now I get "Codeprj2: This program has performed an illegal operation and
will be shut down".  Symptoms:  After double-clicking the member filter, the
status area shows "Retrieving list <servername>....." and after about 3
minutes, I get the failure message and 'Details' shows:

I have rebooted and ended the job QZRCSRVS about a dozen times, and tried
different filers, but repeatedly get the same error.  Any ideas?
