Hello Dalbir, The problem is that you are trying to run STRRLU in a batch job and it can only run in an interactive job. There are two kinds of communication servers in CODE. By default you get the batch servers because they are completely invisible to you. You submit a command, CODE creates a batch job and runs a command. This works for most cases. You can configure which host it goes to, what userid/password to login with and what library list to setup using the popup menu on the CODE Communications Daemon in your system tray. In order to run interactive commands or prompt CL commands, you need to set up a STRCODE server. To do this you start and emulator and run the STRCODE command, (prompt it and say that you are using *TCPIP communications and give it the IP address of your PC). Make sure you are accessing you PRTF source member from the STRCODE server. Then your command should run just fine. I hope this helps, --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Edmund Reinhardt, AS/400 AD Tools, reinhard@ca.ibm.com Dept 607, IBM Canada Lab TL 778-4392 Phone 448-4392 dalbir.sangha@virginuk.com on 07/07/2000 11:43:54 AM Please respond to CODE400-L@midrange.com To: CODE400-L@midrange.com cc: Subject: RLU I am trying to start RLU from the code project organiser by right clicking on the source for my PRTF and choosing "RLU printer design" but I get the following info/ errors shown in the message area of the code project organiser: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- " STRRLU OPTION(2) SRCFILE(DSSLIB/QDDSSRC) SRCMBR(OTB021P) CPD0031 Command STRRLU not allowed in this setting. Cause . . . . . : The complete list of settings includes: batch, interactive, batch control language (CL) program, interactive CL program, batch REXX procedure, interactive REXX procedure, batch CL ILE program, interactive CL ILE program, CALL to QCMDEXC, and various types of source statements. The Display Command (DSPCMD) command can be used to determine the setting in which the command is allowed.
