[COBOL400-L] Adding new field to DDS member

Good Morning,

I have found the DDS member for the file.
I added the new field to it.
I recompiled it.
I also recompiled another DDS member that is associated with this one.

When I look at the DSPFD - it does not look like it changed. I
compared it to the production file and they both look the same.
It still has the same number of fields.

I know I am missing something.

I appreciate your help.

Thank you,
Charmaine

Charmaine,

If you can answer a couple questions, it would help us assist you.

1) How did you go about recompiling the DDS? (e.g., Using option 14 in
PDM.)

2) When you say "another DDS member that is associated with this one" is
one
a logical file over the other?

If you try to compile a Physical file (PF) which has logical files (LF)
over
it, it will fail unless you delete any logical files over it first.
