Subject: [COBOL400-L] calling a SNDEMAIL command using COBOL
What is a good method of sending email from a COBOL pgm?
I have a SNDEMAIL command with quite a few parms.
Would it be best to:
* Call QCMDEXE to launch the command? or
* SBMJOB the command; or
* Create a CL wrapper for the command and call that
(although this seems too complex as the command already has
CL behind it).
* Other ideas?
Thanks!
