I don't disagree - but the level of traffic here (and on other COBOL lists)
suggests that there is not enough interest.

Why not direct everyone to another list (say the iSeries Network) and ensure
more participants.

The suggestion to close was not based on cost-savings or anything - just
that there was no traffic.
