hello, i have fix the problem by detecting page up and pagedown when already at the top or bottom the system returns control to your program, and if detect page up or down, then show my message. my new problem is as folows when already at the top the system returns control to my program, then i detect it is page-up, and show the already at the top of the list, but when you press page down, and it is not at the bottom of the page, the system doesn't return control to my program, and the result is the message i have shown earlier, is shown, every time a page down is press and it is not at the bottom of the page. and of course the control is return to my program when it is at the bottom of the page, and that is the time the "already at the top of the list" is cleared, because is send a new message that is it "already at the bottom of the page" -----Original Message----- From: Domingo, Wilson M. Com (E-mail) Subject: [COBOL400-L] msg in full load sfl? hi all!! sorry for this simple problem my problem is to show only in full loading, the message that is already at the top or bottom on the msg location 24, or the 24 line usually we all know that in full loading the system is in control of page down ang page up, and in only notifies you that is in the top or bottom by diaplaying a message "roll up or roll down past the first or last record in file" in the status bar of client access my first solution is to hide the status bar of the client access, but the user usually don't know about it so is there another way to show the message in line 24 of my screen, thanks in advance Wilson _______________________________________________ This is the COBOL Programming on the iSeries/AS400 (COBOL400-L) mailing list To post a message email: COBOL400-L@xxxxxxxxxxxx To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options, visit: http://lists.midrange.com/mailman/listinfo/cobol400-l or email: COBOL400-L-request@xxxxxxxxxxxx Before posting, please take a moment to review the archives at http://archive.midrange.com/cobol400-l.
