We have 13 COBOL developers, about 3800 COBOL programs (all ILE), 3.8 million lines of code. While we are using some Java, the business logic still remains in the COBOL programs. I've read some about OO COBOL and would be very interested in it if it came to fruition. I think it's true that we don't use all the bells and whistles that come with COBOL (constants). We do use a lot of ILE, activation groups, commitment control and journaling. <http://www.crix.com/> <http://www.crix.com/> <http://www.crix.com/> Launch CRIX.com <http://www.crix.com/> <http://www.crix.com/> <http://www.crix.com/> <http://www.crix.com/> Rick Beethe - Manager Application Development 10170 Church Ranch Way, Suite 300 Westminster, CO 80021-6061 phone (303) 297-9200 x225 fax (303) 292-3324 < <http://www.crix.com/> http://www.crix.com>
