There are programming guides and reference manuals for COBOL at the iSeries Infocenter. Go to: http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/iseries/v5r2/ic2924/index.htm and look under Programming > COBOL in the menu on the left side of the page. You can download these documents in PDF format. The WDSCi help section also has a COBOL reference guide. Open 'Help Contents', go to 'iSeries programming information', and expand 'High-level languages' to see the COBOL section. If you're coding COBOL in WDSCi, you can also double-click on a COBOL keyword, then press F1, and WDSCi will open the COBOL reference manual to the page containing the keyword. Finally, there is a COBOL400-L list, similar to this list, where you can ask questions of other COBOL400 programmers. See http://lists.midrange.com/mailman/listinfo/cobol400-l for more info or to subscribe.
