OPM COBOL - like OPM RPG has been "functionally stabilized" - there have
been no enhancements since V2R3 and there never will be.  The only thing
that will ever happen is bug fixes and (possibly) additional fixes to allow
the compiler to "survive" the addition of new data types or whatever in the
database.  This is similar to what happened when Date data types and Varying
length fields were first introduced.

It's time to get over it guys and move on to a version of the language that
is still being developed!
