"I have tried issuing a COMMIT in the pgm . . . ." Are you using an EXEC SQL "COMMIT" or a COBOL COMMIT? I haven't done much with commitment control in SQL, but I know when using native COBOL DB2 access, you have to code a CL 'STRCMTCTL' command and then issue the COBOL 'COMMIT' verb to commit the changes. I'm not sure if the COBOL 'commit' verb will commit SQL changes or if the CL start commitment control command is required.
