Time for MIDRANGE.COM mail server hardware upgrade

Hey all,

This was recently addressed on the Midrange-L list, and thought it would be 
appropriate to
propagate it to some of the other lists as well for those who don't subscribe 
to Midrange-L.  I'm
hitting the RPG400-L, COBOL400-L, and MI400 lists with this request.  If you 
belong to other lists
on midrange.com, please consider propagating this to those as well.  Thanks.  -

Maybe it's time for a fundraiser (list-a-thon?) again, David?  It's been over a 
year since the
last one.  $500 ought to be able to buy a decent box to replace that old thing.

If everyone who subscribes to the midrange.com donated ONE STINKIN' DOLLAR, we 
would far exceed
the cost required to replace that antique.  I would gladly give a dollar to 
help speed up response
time on the lists.

I appreciate every contribution ... and I'm making progress to being able to 
afford a new system
(looking at a Dell PowerEdge 600SC right now).
