Hi Cesar,

Is this a dot matrix printer, ink jet, or laser?

If its a dot matrix printer then its probably because Windows prints to
dot matrix printers in graphics mode, and it has at least since Windows
3.1. One way to speed it up is to use the Generic/Text-Only printer
driver in Windows or use Host Print Transform. If you use HPT, try some
of the stripped down printers such as *WSCSTCONT132 or *WSCSTCONT80 and
use the controls on the printer.

If you use the Generic/Text-Only driver you may want to setup the reset
and font size selections in the printer properties as follows ( press
the Esc key for <ESC>):
On the Commands Tab, set:
Begin Print Job = <ESC>@
On the Fonts Tab set:
Select 10CPI = <ESC>x0<ESC>P
Select 12CPI = <ESC>x0<ESC>M
Select 17CPI = <ESC>x0<ESC>!^D <<Note: Use the ALT key and 4 on the 10
key pad to get the ^D sequence. It's not a text entry.)

If this doesn't fix it, please let me know. We fixed this problem long
ago and with the reduction of dot matrix printers, I haven't messed with
it in a long time.
