For me,  list is my window to the COBOL-world. I'm sitting quite lonesome
almost on the north pole, trying to keep up my skills. So I do NOT agree
with you. I think the topics on this list can be very interesting, and
it's also valuable to have different views on things.

So, folks, go on with good discussions around interesting subjects.
