This is a multi-part message in MIME format. -- [ Picked text/plain from multipart/alternative ] I am attempting to write a COBOL program with some embedded SQL in it. I have the following code in Working storage: EXEC SQL INCLUDE SQLCA END-EXEC. The program is defined as a CBLLE type but on compilation I get: 12 MSGID: LNC2913 SEVERITY: 30 SEQNBR: 001900 Message . . . . : Syntax error detected at 'EXEC'. Do I have to have a particular version of the COBOL compiler in order to get this to work? I am on 4.3 of OS400 and SQL statements work fine when using STRSQL --
