I was forced to drop my COBOL sessions because I had just too many sessions to do at COMMON. They were not replaced because the attendance numbers were too low. Part of the problem you face is that most* COBOL shops also have RPG based packages and so have an active interest in both languages. Unless you are very lucky, there will be at least one or two good RPG sessions scheduled up against the COBOL one with the resulting reduction in attendance. * I can't remember the exact numbers but in excess of 90% of all shops that have the COBOL compiler also have RPG!
