Hi,
I've installed 5733XT2, XML Toolkit for IBM System i5, options 1,2 and 3.
I can get the sample transform programs TESTXSLT and XALANTRANS to work OK but they don't work correctly if the format-number() function is used in the stylesheet.
The function gets ignored and a warning message issued indicating that it is not implemented.
I suspect this is might be because XSLT4C does not have ICU integrated into it which is what appears to provide the support necessary for functions like format-number() to succeed.
I notice that the sample compile commands do not specify XALAN_USE_ICU on the DEFINE keyword.
Also the include directory /QIBM/ProdData/xmltoolkit2/xsl_1100/include/xalanc has an empty folder named ICUBridge.
I'm wondering if I need to install 5733XT2 options 4 and 5 which install later versions of *SRVPGMS in a different library.
It might be that these integrate ICU and provide support for format-number().
Has anybody tried this?
