No other idea than using the system() function to call the i/OS command.
But perhaps someone other on the list has another idea.

AFAIK chmod is used to set access auth on ifs objects
I can use chmod to set Read, Write and Execute permissions for owner,
group
and public but..
I can't see a way to use chmod to set public access to *AUTL which is an
as400 specific authority.
Got any ideas ?
