Thanks for having a go Mihael.

Does anyone else know how to set public access to *AUTL from a C(++) program
?

No other idea than using the system() function to call the i/OS command.
But perhaps someone other on the list has another idea.

Subject: Re: [C400-L] C function to set public authority on ifs file

Morning Mihael, appreciate the prompt reply.

AFAIK chmod is used to set access auth on ifs objects

I can use chmod to set Read, Write and Execute permissions for owner,
group
and public but..

I can't see a way to use chmod to set public access to *AUTL which is an
as400 specific authority.

Got any ideas ?
