The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.

Yes, it's off-topic. Search the archives--I've given my opinion on
this many times and I'm not alone in that view (but there are large
numbers opposed to it). Read the Unix Haters Handbook for a better
discussion of things wrong with Unix than I could provide.
And while I'm OT, did you ever realize the UIM ebook you considered
putting
together a few years back?
No. Insufficient demand. It would take months of my time and the
financial return would be pathetic.
