I develop for PASE using Eclipse with the CDT (C Developer's Toolkit).
I then use Unison to synchronize my source to the IFS. Then I use an
SSH shell session to run gmake to build the PASE objects. Our source
control is Subversion, so we use Subversive to manage that "side".
You can adjust that formula a bit if you wish to use the Remote Systems
plug-in for Eclipse (by working directly with the source on the IFS) or
by accessing the IFS via a Windows shared folder.
I strongly encourage you to NOT use the RDi C tools. They do not have
the outline the CDT has (which in my book is invaluable!).

Subject: [C400-L] IBM i and RDi and PASE and AIX C/C++
I am not sure where to post this so I will hit both groups,
Is there any way to manage C/C++ source using Rational tools (e.g.:RDi,
RDA, etc.) with the source compiled using the AIX C/C++ IBMi PASE
compiler and a target of IBMi PASE?
