You can have nested exception handlers. First one invoked is the one
closest to the exception area.
Something like this ought to do what you're after:

#pragma exception_handler(RetryIns,0,_C1_ALL,_C2_ALL)
#pragma exception_handler(MCH2401err, 0, 0, _C2_MH_EXCAPE, _CTLA_HANDLE,
