I'm trying to use the freopen() function to redirect stdout to a file. Redirecting to a QSYS file works fine (MYLIB/MYFILE(MYMBR)), but to an IFS file does not (/tmp/stdout.txt). Although the file is created, all output is written to the console and not to the file. I'm using ILE C/C++ and see the same behavior on V4R5 and V5R1 systems.

Any suggestions here? Has anyone else tried anything similar?

Thanks in advance for any help.
Jason
