I use the C++ compiler with a command similar to CRTCPPMOD MODULE(QTEMP/AFFHTPY02) SRCSTMF('/cppsource/AFFHTPY02.CPP') CHECKOUT(*GENERAL) OUTPUT(*PRINT) OPTION(*SHOWSRC). I keep the source in a standard AS/400 source file then I have a build CL program which copies it to the IFS system before issueing the create module command. I want to compile source code on the IFS (path something like /home/projects/src). How do I run the compile?
