How to obtain IP address? -- C400-L

Hi, C-speaking people (or writing...)
Can anyone give me some hints, on how to obtain an IP address for a certain 
logged on user?
They are all logged via a plain IP using terminal emulation program.
I saw once such a program (SHOWIP) but I need a piece of code to add to a 
signon procedure.
Tried to find something relevant in the SYSTEMS API reference, but without too 
much success.
