You need a copy of the Machine Interface Functional Reference (SC41-5810) 
which is available only in hard copy.  It is not on the CD.

You will find information and examples on each of the MI functions from a C 
perspective in the MI Library Reference (SC09-2418) which is part of the ILE C 
Bookshelf on the Softcopy CD.
