Hi Arif,

Our GL file only gets data from LX (subsystem, and manual) and most journals are packed and approved before posting. I will also check the user ids.

Isaac,

Are there any other applications/programs that are updating your G/L files, outside BPCS/LXi? Also for any particular imbalance account you can check and compare the user id between GSB and GLH files. It may lead you to the source which is causing the imbalance.

Thanks, Rob.

Will look at your suggestion on journaling the files. I have already contacted Infor but haven't received any positive reply except that it is being researched.

If you journal those files you could analyze those for causes. If you are running a HA (High Availability) solution then odds are high you are journalling those files.

You might want to ask Infor if they have any BMRs out there to address this. Then again, if they have a fix it program it could be one of those things they just can't figure out and decided to patch it with the fix it program.

Dear All,

For some time now we have been having imbalances between the journal
detail file (GLH) and the summary file (GSB). Though I know running the
program CEA971 would reconcile the two files, what are the possible
technical causes of this issue?
