The Job Code is user-defined and used for sorting or grouping of shop
orders for order scheduling and bill explosion. In SFC530 you can link the
shop orders by job code. You can also link orders by campaign ID, job code
or both. This applies whether you forward or backward schedule your
multi-llevel shop orders. You can also explode bills by the campaign code,
job code, or planner code from the end-item parent or parent shop order to
the lowest level child shop order that is created. Shop Order Type is used
internally by several products that include (API, INV, FAS, PUR, etc.
What are the valid values for the LTORDT (Shop Order Type) field of the
FLT (Labor Ticket Transaction file)?
SFC600 - populates the LTORDT with a value of SO in both create and post
mode. JIT600 populates the LTORDT with a value of WK in create mode, a PO
in post mode, and a BF when a backflush of labor for a uncollectable
operation is performed. SFC650 populates the LTORDT with a value of WS in
create mode, a SB in post mode, and a BS when a backflush of labor is
performed against a uncollectable operation.
