The reason I'm asking is because my company is planning a migration to LX v8 and they don't want to use the JIT or the LOT functions but wondered if using the QMS as well as or the LMS. Most of the documentation on either says must be lot control or not working because QMS installed or LMS. The core documentation isn't very good on it and no one seems to want to demystify it!

QMS and LMS are Separate systems from Lot Control (INV). But in saying that they have separate Item Setup and if controlled by QMS/LMS the Lot status plays a big part in Shipping as to whether the Lot can be shipped.

Do both the QMS & LMS have to be used with Lot and or JIT functions?
