We are using BPCS 6.1 and we are about to become a Foreign
Trade Zone. Has anyone else experienced this process and did BPCS work well
with the process or did it require major modification or additional software.
It appears that BPCS Item Master already have fields that we can store the
required information and that it’s already creating the transactions for
shipments, receipts and transfers that we’ll need to utilize for FTZ Reporting.
So I’m curious if anyone else have experience with BPCS and Foreign Trade Zone
setup and are any suggestions or recommendations on where to story the
following info:
1. HTSUS Number/Rate/Description
2. Zone Status (NPF, PF, D, ZR)3. HTSUS Unit Dutiable Value
4. HTSUS Unit Weight (Net/Gross in Kilograms)
5. HTSUS units of Measure
