The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.

Our ITH file is about a million records. We are on 405 CD version of BPCS.
In BPCS System Parameters, is set how long to keep data in various files .
some number months, years, which ought not be altered, without serious
consideration to overall needs, and might be wise to alter during
end-fiscal-month, so BPCS behaves consistently within a month. There are
some bugs where some BPCS programs ignore the system parameter settings.
Access to large files needs to be with extreme caution, to only focus on the
most relevant records, such as "B" shipping, with contemporary date.
ITH is one of our largest files. Other large files include costs and
engineering.
INV900, during EOM, writes off the no-longer-wanted records, because they
are X months older than system parameters says to keep. BUG . if you delete
some item, INV900 will ignore its history, because it only writes off
records on valid items. There are also archiving solutions.
We are not using Smart BOL.
