We also have 405CD and we also have the GJDOLD file. It has year 2009
detail also and the normal GJD file has 2010 - 2013. Until now I never knew
it existed.

1. GLDOLD on 405 CD (Al Mac Wow)
GLDOLD sounds like a custom archive file. GJD is the journal detail file in
this version. 4.05 would only allow 2 years of history with 6 months grace
carryover into the new year.
I suspect someone has either manually copied your data into this file or you
have a custom program that adds to it.

We are on BPCS 405 CD.

Perhaps some kind soul can verify my understanding of GLDOLD.

I think it is replaced by GLD900-GLD901 to contain the GJD records wiped out
by final GL year close.

I do not see any programs with any report or inquiry from this data.

Currently we have year 2009 in our GLDOLD file, years 2010 to 2013 in our
GJD / GJH.

GLDOLD = 19 Meg disk space size

GJD = 37 Meg

GJH = 18 Meg

Soon we will be doing final GL year close for 2012 fiscal year.

For the first time, we are archiving financial files, and I am trying to
figure out which GL files relevant to archive.

Typo Oops - I wrote GLDOLD. I meant GJDOLD.
