Hi Tony,
I have just checked our system parameter and it is for the exchange rate to be set at order entry time rather than receipt time so it doesn't allow the order exchange rate to be zero.
Thanks & Regards,

The exchange rate can be overridden in PUR550 and this will drive the conversion onto the ITH file
- I saw this last year at an 8.3 client
- you can check if it is happening every time or just on isolated transactions (maybe by user ITH.THUSER?)
- it's possible the field is being field-exited and defaulting to 1

subject: [BPCS-L] Exchange Rate not converting
Hi,
Where are the possible places I could check if a particular transaction currency does not convert to the base currency (USD) during receipt which distorts the average price. The records in HPO shows the right exchange rate but that in ITH after the receipt shows 1. We are on ERP LX 8.3.1
