The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.

By the way, if you have them install System i Navigator, have them install
all of it and not just Basic Operations. Otherwise you won't get the
database tools.
There's another system access into the database but if you're not running
7.1 of the OS with a fix that won't be released until December it will be
so slow that it will leave a permanent bad taste in your mouth so I'll
forego that one for now.
There are graphical tools into the system, it's just that many prefer the
green ones because they're often faster, you don't have to coordinate PC
software with OS upgrades, and when something goes wrong it's easier to
pinpoint the problem. Your choice.
