You can independently confirm or deny this. The way to do this is to read
the Memo To Users available for 6.1. In there it will mention a command
called ANZOBJCVN. This stands for Analyze Object Conversion. If any
program fails this it will NOT run on 6.1 or higher. You will need some
PTFs from IBM for V5R4 to get the latest version of ANZOBJCVN.

All I can say, without having to kill you, is that I worked with IBM and
Infor quite extensively to ensure their stuff would work with 6.1.

Now, there is a small possibility that your system could pass ANZOBJCVN
but still have issues with 6.1. A hypothetical example might be that
Infor relied on some default behavior of SQL on V5R4 and prior. IBM may
have changed that default behavior because it was nonstandard. Now it may
act differently with 6.1.
In summary, even if you pass ANZOBJCVN you might still need some BMR's
from Infor to fix a few programs.

We were undergoing a migration from 405CD to LX at the same time of our
6.1 conversion. Ours was heavily modified 405CD. I feel your pain.

One final note: Why are you stopping at 6.1 and not going all the way to
7.1? 7.1 has been generally available for a couple of years now. It will
be supported by IBM for at least a few years to come - I guarantee it. The
only legitimate reason for staying at 6.1 is if your machine won't support
7.1. See:
