We use barcoding software from Orbesoft in our LX 8.3.3 environment. It
is extensively used in our company for a variety of LX processes that a
traditional for barcoding and many processes where scanners are not even
involved. For us it is easy to take any process done in LX or a process
not available in LX and create a user interface that works on wireless
scanner, mobile phone or tablet, or desktop computer. It is a build your
own process but is relatively easy to program.

I would be glad to discuss further how we use the program.

We want to expand our bar coding usage - want to start using scanners
for incoming PO receipts (contract /discrete) and a host of other items
- what vendor have you used that you would recommend. Did you "build"
your own? Do you use scanners minimally or most of the functions in the
plant? What "gochas" should we look out for? ERP-LX 8.3.04
