Do you use PLC - Product life Cycle, That can halt Pick Confirm.

Check the backorder code of the order.
If set to "No backorder allowed" BPCS simply puts the back to status 01000 until all lines can be fully shipped.

I have an issue regarding pick confirm. When we do pick confirm for particular order, it does return the status to pick release. I also do visit the order hold functionality but no customer is on hold status.
