We run BPCS on the IBM iSeries and use T.L. Ashford Barcode label
software. We modified SFC300 added a Function key to pass the shop
order# to a label printing program. The label prints the Shop Order#,
Item#, a transaction code, and default warehouse location.

These labels are used for identification and inventory transactions. We
even added a small picture of the product on the label.

What is everyone using these days for barcode and data capturing
integration
with BPCS? I want to implement something that can print barcode labels
when
a shop order is created as part of the process. Can someone describe how
your system works? Thanks!
