Larenzo - The special price should take effect as soon as the user presses enter when keying in the order line(s). If the special price is not displayed to the user at that time then the special pricing is missing something. I'd check the following:

1. Make sure that the hierarchy is established correctly in the Order processing system parameters in SYS800.
2. If you are using any customer and/or item discount codes make sure that the customers and items have the correct discount codes set-up in the respective customer and item master records with the correct affectivity dates and make sure that you have selected the correct price type to be used in establishing the net price at Order entry.

The use of batch pricing is only recommended if you have changed any characteristics in special pricing and there is a need to re-price any affected orders.

Hello all,
 
When is the special pricing applied and does BPCS automatically apply the special pricing when F6-Accept is pressed in the customer order entry? Or does the user have to take Option 11 on each detail line to apply the special pricing from the Special Princing table or use the Batch Pricing? The user is under the assumption they didnt have to apply any special pricing and BPCS automatically did it but I'm unsure how it is suppose to work.
 
We are shaving an issue where special pricing is not on the invoices and the Special Pricing table appears to be set up correctly and the book date in the customer order is within in the range of the speical pricing table.
