Hi Darryl,

Yes, the user-defined menuing system is quite flexible and my client has used it
to some degree for some new menus.  However, they have created custom menus for
most BPCS applications which are designed in the V4.05CD format.  In
addition, there are links from standard BPCS menus to these custom menus as well
as additions to the standard BPCS menus.  So, the preference is to continue to
use the current BPCS menus so that there is no user impact.

The client does currently have source code for all BPCS menus so I am not quite
sure why Infor said that they do not want to provide it for the V6R1 upgrade
unless the issue is that the new security system and licensing is embedded in
the menu CL's and therefore Infor will not provide source code.

If Infor will not provide it, then I suppose we will have to switch everything
over to the user-defined menuing system.

Take care!

The idea is not to use the older style menu's that were used on 405CD and
before.

You should switch the guys over to using the new menu. Test it out at CALL
SYS500C. It is user defined by tables and is a whole lot easier to maintain.
