Check the ARWSID in RAR - ACR500 checks this field for In Use - Should be blank

Saranga,

When an RAR record is being processed by another user BPCS/LX will change the record ID so as, to lock all of the records for that particular customer/document until complete. If the user looses communication from the iSeries the record stays "locked" . This sounds like what has happened.

I suggest that you run a query looking for every record in RAR where the first character of the record id is equal to a "T" and that should clear things up.

I suggest that you have everyone that is processing A/R finish their work so you'll just retrieve the records in the query that are still "locked".

Hi All,

We are using ERPLX 8.3 and one of our record shows "Record in use by another
workstation" during ACR500 when we select to allocate a particular document. I
checked in RAR and that particular document was with the Record ID "TP". As this
has not affected the subsystem and as well GL, we removed the record with the
Record ID "TP" thinking that would solve the issue.

Even afterthat, the "Record in use by another workstation" issue continues.
Require your help in releasing this particular record from the workstation. Any
idea which other files i have to look into to resolve this issue.
