The internal search function is temporarily non-functional. The current search engine is no longer viable and we are researching alternatives.
As a stop gap measure, we are using Google's custom search engine service.

You know, do not assume that a simple upgrade of the OS cannot effect an
existing program. And I am not talking about observability and ANZOBJCVN
issues.
Can anyone guess how this might change in 6.1 from earlier releases?
SELECT RPROD FROM FRT WHERE RID='RT'
Clue:
http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/iseries/v6r1m0/topic/db2/rbafzscarid.htm
We discovered this when recompiling a standard BPCS program using SQL with
RID in it.
Workaround: Change to
SELECT RPROD FROM FRT WHERE "RID"='RT'
The strange thing is, it wasn't noticable during execution, only during
recompile. It's technobabble but it has something to do with imbedded sql
being converted into a series of calls during the precompile.
