Norm,

Perhaps what you were saying was that if one takes the generated code and
convert that it will work. That is always a possibility. However I
believe that Pierre was trying to work within AS/SET.

At one time I advocated NOT keeping the generated source. The reason
being it was too tempting for someone to make a change there instead of
within AS/SET and thus making a mess out of using AS/SET to make further
modifications.
