Oops, I thought he was asking where BPCS stores the code# for software
license key. There is something IBM in QSYS I think that stores info on
files to facilitate SQL access, irrespective of BPCS.

Regardless of what version of BPCS/LX that you have implemented, there is
not a central location for the storage of the keys to the files.

In the database all of the files are keyed by a logical view. Every file's
key is a combination of a field or fields that are resident in that
respective physical file along with the record id of the file that will
determine whether or not the logical view will include all records or just
the active records.
