I see that our old P.O. Headers all have status code = 2, while the P.O. detail records all have status = 3. Yet, all quantities are received and costed. We must have changed the system (programs) somewhere along the line, and that is why these records do not purge. I did a test and said PURGE UNCOSTED Transactions, and then they disappeared, but the status codes are whacked and that is not something I want to do live.

Don,

At first glance it looks like the old PO's were never fully received or removed if they are never going to be received. Are you running PUR900 and deleting received and costed PO's.

In my experience if the users don't maintain the PO's as they are received and don't remove the residual quantities that are never going to be received they stick around forever.

What are your tolerance settings for PO receipts in your SYS PARMS?
