Hi Sumat,

We looked at QMS in some depth here at Bergquist. QMS is very powerful as I recall, it was a couple of years ago when we looked at it. The deal-breaker for us was the overhead involved in setting it up and maintaining the data. Eventually we decided upon creating our own bolt-on package for quality and SQC. I do not think our package would pass muster for FB&T or Pharma, but since we do not expect our customers to be eating Sil-Pad, it works for us.

Subject: [BPCS-L] QMS Module

Hello Everyone:

We are in middle of our assessment project of upgrading from V8.1 to erp
lx, currently, we do not use QMS module but would like to know what are
the pros and cons of turning this module on?

I am looking for what functionality it can offer and what are the pain
points of managing this module?

Thanks in advance for your responses.
Regards,
