Hi,

I believe if there is inventory available on a phantom part then it will be picked up as material on a shop order when a shop order is issued against one of it's parent items, and then can be automatically issued via back flushing...

You could change the Item Master 'Must Single Issue' flag on it to keep the automatic back flushing from occurring, but you may then have problems w/ the phantom component not issuing automatically...

We use phantoms a lot, but always keep their inventory balances zero...
