Yes the AS/SET code converted to ILE for the old programs. Only new programs were ILE written in ILE not AS/SET converted to ILE. From LX no more AS/SET. So the old programs generated from AS/SET(AS/SET latest versions used to generate ILE code but very basics) have been converted to ILE. LX uses ILE features as service programs etc. If I am not wrong all SYS programs are now mostly service programs. The AS/SET generated RPGLE code for old programs were not re written into ILE. So like PUR300* you will find AS/SET code in rpgle with some added code for weblicating . Thats is my understanding. "You cannot use AS/SET to modify LX programs". I had to retrofit Version 6.1 mods into LX for quite a few programs .

Thanks & Regards

It is my understanding is that when the first version of LX was generated 8.3.00 the source was generated as ILE.

"Oh I forgot no AS/SET but you have to debug AS/SET code in RPGLE. Have
fun."

In LX is the AS/SET code generated into RPGII like in earlier versions or
did they convert it to ILE source files?

Thanks
